HillCrest Vineyard farms more than 260 acres in Oregon’s Umpqua Valley, including
approximately 40 acres of estate vineyards. Our land is cared for as a complete farm, not simply
a vineyard, with a regenerative approach that includes beef cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens
working alongside the vines to help support soil health, biodiversity, and the natural rhythms of
the property.

All of our vineyards are dry-farmed on hillsides and tended using the best of Old World farming
traditions. Rather than relying on shortcuts, we focus on building healthy soils, balanced vines,
and fruit that honestly reflects the land. Every wine we produce is made exclusively from
estate-grown fruit, allowing us to guide each bottle from vineyard to cellar with intention and
care.

Our estate includes three highly distinct vineyard sites, each shaped by its own combination of
soil, elevation, exposure, and climate. This diversity allows us to craft wines with remarkable
range and distinction — from elegant, structured reds to expressive whites and rare varietals
that speak clearly of their place.

HillCrest is also the only winery in the Umpqua Valley recognized by the international
organization Slow Wine for both the quality of our wines and our care for nature. For us, this
recognition reflects a deeper commitment: to farm responsibly, make wines of authenticity and
character, and preserve this historic land for future generations.
