2006 Right Bank

Classic Merlot 60% Cab Franc 40%.. This is our first release of this wine which is modeled after 2 wines on the "Right Bank" of Bordeaux known as Cheval Blanc and Chateay Figeac. Unusual in it's high proportion of Cabernet Franc, the richness of Merlot is balanced by the floral almost raspberry fruit and structure of the Cabernet Franc. A wine that is meant to age, it shows more intensity and structure than most New World Merlot blends.
